Dr Turner has pursued advanced courses both in Australia and abroad, allowing him to stay updated on the latest, proven techniques for delivering reliable dental care. In 2000, Dr Turner completed the Ten-Month Implant Program Certificate in Surgical and Prosthetic Training at the Misch Implant Institute, University of Pittsburgh (only the second Australian dentist to have done it at that time).
Dr Turner’s general dental practice encompasses most aspects of dentistry. He has particular interest and experience in dental implant restoration, endodontics (root canal therapy), and crown and bridge work. His focus lies in restoring and maintaining oral functionality while achieving optimal aesthetics. Employing magnification for precision, he ensures high accuracy in all treatments
With 45 years of experience, Dr Turner prioritizes helping patients maintain healthy teeth and mouths throughout their lives and is dedicated to dental practice and his patients.
Dr Robin Turner graduated with honours from the University of Sydney in January 1980, placed 3rd among a cohort of over 120 students. In his final year he received the Dr Bruce Henry Maxwell Prize for Proficiency in Operative Dentistry, the K P Mackinnon Prize for Proficiency in Clinical Prosthetic Dentistry, and the overall prize in restorative dentistry for Proficiency in Operative Dentistry and Prosthetic Dentistry.
He began practicing dentistry after his graduation, and in 1982, he became a partner in the practice. Over the subsequent 43 years he operated that same dental clinic before transitioning to Spa Dental CBD in July 2025, where he provides the same high level of care in state-of-the-art facilities.
